The Chili Cheese Nacho Wagyu Burger 🍔 prepared by @felixkochbook. The slightly spicy chili cheese sauce is quickly grilled and the nachos provide a delicious crunch!
You need the following ingredients for 2 burgers:
From our Burger Set ➡ available in the online store
- 6 x 180 g Wagyu Sauerland Patties
- 6 burger buns
as well as
- Nachos
- 6 slices of bacon
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 10 g flour
- 150 ml milk
- 100 g cheddar cheese
- 4 pickled jalapenos
- 0,5 tsp sweet paprika
- salt
- pepper
First prepare the chili cheese sauce. For this, heat the butter in a pot and let it melt. Then add the flour and mix with a whisk. Then add the milk and stir everything well. When the milk is hot, coarsely grate the cheddar and dissolve it in it. Drain the jalapenos well, cut them into thin slices and add them to the sauce as well. Season with paprika powder, salt and pepper. Then keep the sauce warm and stir it in between.
Now prepare the burgers. Cut the buns in half and butter all the cut surfaces. Heat the grill and brown the bun halves with the cut side down. Then set aside. Grill the bacon slices on both sides so they are nice and crispy. Then grill the wagyu patties on both sides for about 3 minutes. Always make sure that they do not burn. A lot of fat drips from the tasty wagyu patties, which bursts into flames and conjures up a delicious roasted aroma. After grilling, let the patties trail near the heat for another 2 minutes or so so that they are grilled "medium" at the core. Now the burger can be assembled. To do this, put the chili cheese sauce on the bottom half of each bun and a good handful of nachos on top. Then place the patty on top, followed by 3 bacon slices each. Finish with the top half of the bun.
